Ellisfamily1, Some people are a bit harsh but all in all.Honestly, I feel like people did not keep it in mind that this was technically the first Nancy Drew computer game that came out. So yeah, it is pretty short. But they had to start SOMEWHERE right? I do not agree that for the length it should be $20 but this was one of the only ND games I never got around to playing so I figured while I am still waiting (impatiently) for the Salem ND game to come out, I might as well seize the opportunity to play it. All in all, not a bad story or anything, just short and kind of confined because of that.
Interesting76, Something Was MissingI’ve played all of the Nancy Drew games for MAC. I’m sure that this one was the worst. Not only is it extremely short (probably around an hour of gameplay), but there are only three places to visit, which makes it pretty boring. The worst part of it was that the entire time I felt like I was missing a huge part of the plot. Characters would begin speaking and then suddenly stop.
I had to check several times to see if I’d accidentally pressed a key that made the dialogue skip. At first I attributed the odd dialogue starts and stops to a glitch in the game, a glitch that prevented me from knowing the backstory or character motivation. But no, the backstory and motivation just wasn’t in the game. I didn’t care about any of the characters.

I did even care about the kid that died. I wish I would have paid attention to the other reviews. But I was just so excited to play another game But this wasn’t a game. It was like a trailer for a game or a demo of a game.
